Bluestacks is an android emulator, which helps us to download and install almost all Android applications on our PC. This methodology drives us to easily use WhatsApp on our PC. Below is a step-by-step guide to follow to use WhatsApp on PC through Bluestacks:
- Download and install Bluestacks from here. It is about 8.8 MB in storage space.
- After this, install it on your system. Once it gets installed you will see a screen displaying the menu. Go to theMy Apps section.
- From the displayed menu, select App Search.
- After clicking on App Search, a search box will open.
- Type in WhatsApp. It will display a result for WhatsApp application and its related wallpaper, smileys, paint and etc. Click on the first icon to install.
- Now the application will ask you to sync your Google account with your number/phone. Proceed through and it will synchronize your account with the Google store. After finishing the setup, it will show a menu containing app stores: 1 mobile market, Amazon and Google store. Select the icon from I mobile market.
- After this, it will start downloading. After download, it will show a dialogue box, asking you to Agree and Continue. Proceed through, it will take you to the next box, asking you to select your country and fill your number.
- The application will send a code or verification number to your input contact number. Just enter that code and your application is ready to use, just like you do on your phone or tablet.
Apart from Bluestacks, which is the most preferred application emulator, there is one other platform, which you can use for downloading and installing WhatsApp on your PC:

- This application is very light to use, and thus is preferred over Bluestacks by users whose systems does not support heavy programs and applications.
- One of the essential features of this application is that you need to create or own an existing WhatsApp account from a mobile phone.
- It does not require any graphic card.

Steps for installing Wassapp to use WhatsApp on PC:
- Download Wassapp for PC client from here, around 11 MB in size.
- After running the setup and installing the Wassapp client, open the program. It will display a window, as seen below:
- On the screen, chose from the two options, login with either your existing account or create a new one.
- For users already using WhatsApp on their mobile phone, follow the given guidelines:
- For Symbian Phone users: Enter your phone number and password.
- For Android users: Enter your Phone number with password (the password is the IMEI number of the phone).
- For Apple users: Their password is the Wi-Fi Mac address.
For users, still new to the WhatsApp messenger application, you need to create a account on WhatsApp at first from your mobile phone, and then proceed through with Wassap on PC.
- After the login process, the application will send you a verification code on your phone. Enter the verification code and proceed to the new window. It will generate a password for your account, copy-paste that password on your Wassapp login, and you are ready to go to enjoy the messenger application on your computer.
